An evening workshop based at the Pier Head and Albert Dock areas of Liverpool. Designed to explore the techniques for photography during the blue hour and at night.

The course will focus on getting the most out of you and your camera, topics will include composition, the use of leading lines, reflections and the creative use of depth of field. Technical aspects will also be covered explaining the exposure triangle and the use of the histogram.

The use of long exposure will be explained (creating the smooth blurred water effect and dramatic skys (clouds permitting!), and how to best set up your camera.

Participants will need:

  • Camera with Timer/Bulb Mode (remote release optional)

  • Tripod

  • Suitable Outdoor Clothing

The workshop starts at 7pm outside the Museum Of Liverpool and finishes just after 10pm
